Camping in the library

Preschoolers trekked to the library today for a winter camp-in. The children sat around our “campfire”

and listened to stories about going camping. We shared some of our own experiences, too. Then everyone got to creat their own campfire. Here are a few photos. Click here to see them all.

Bookworms Have a “Cosmic” Meeting

The Bookworms Book Club was divided over our February book, Cosmic, by Frank Cottrell Boyce. Some thought it was great, other not so much. But everyone had an opinion. For more information about the Bookworms, click on the Book Club News tab, above.

Happy Valentine’s Day Preschool Pals!

We had loads of fun today in Preschool Pals. We played Match the Hearts, and we heard some really fun books about Valentine’s Day. We sang songs and everyone made their very own Valentine. Here is a look at some of the beautiful creations.

Pancake Day!

This week in Preschool Pals we celebrated Pancake Day with pancake rhymes, pancake books, and even a plate of pancakes to take home. But be careful not to eat them; although they look delicious, they are just pretend!

A Dog Party at Family Fun Storytime!

Tonight for our Family Fun Storytime, we celebrated all kinds of dogs. We heard stories about all different shaped and sized dogs, clean and dirty dogs, and even a dog who says “Meow,” “Moo,” and more! We sang songs and danced, too. Then everyone made their own colorful dog. Here are a few photos.
