A Little Bit of Japan at the Library

Thirteen children participated in Calligraphy with Kazuko at the Ossining Public Library on Wednesday, August 3. They learned about Japanese characters, and wrote “kazan” (volcano) using a bamboo brush. They also wrote their names in Japanese! Kazuko, who led the workshop, said, “They worked hard and did a great job. Don’t they look so proud?”
