Sidewalk Stories Summer 2013

School may be out for the summer but there is no shortage of chalk at the Ossining Public Library these days.  And if you noticed the sherbet hued cloud of chalk dust this morning rising from the lower lever entrance of the library then you experienced Sidewalk Stories. Our new Friday morning program is taking the place of Planes, Trains and Automobiles for the summer months and this morning we opened our session with Jeremy Draws a Monster by Peter McCarty followed by 20 minutes of free time to decorate the lower level entrance sidewalk. Even the grown ups could not resist getting on the ground with the kids to draw.  Stop by to see our handiwork before it rains!
