Our Learning Ambassadors, Miguel Garcia (also known as the Red M) and Kiran Narsipur (also known as SuperBolt) have been working in the Children’s Room all summer. It’s time for them to go, and we will miss them. They helped us with all of our summer programs and also took charge of their own program, called “Stars on Stage”. For “Stars on Stage”, they wrote a script for a funny, new version of the classic story, The Tortoise and the Hare. Miguel and Kiran gave out parts for the play and rehearsed with the cast each week. During the last session on Tuesday, August 13th, the cast performed in front of a very appreciative audience.

Miguel and Kiran as “Red M” and “SuperBolt” also made short videos in the Children’s Room and other parts of the library. Those videos can be found on the Ossining Public Library’s Facebook page.
