May the Fourth Be With You

Last Friday,  May 2nd, we had an early Star Wars Day celebration.

16 Padawans (jedi in training) came to test their knowledge, their reflexes,  and their control of the force.

To test their knowledge, our padawan learners played V-A-D-E-R.

To test their reflexes, they were given thermal detonators (bean bags) to aim at Star Wars villains like  Darth Maul, General Grievous, and the  Stormtroopers. Finally, our young jedi were blindfolded and used the “force” to place a lightsaber over Yoda’s.

After these challenges, we celebrated “sweet” victory with some Princess Leia cupcakes.

Help me Obi-Wan Kenobi, I’m being eaten by children!

Then it was time for graduation! Each of our Jedi Knights received their official diploma from the Jedi Academy.
