Ladybugs, fireflies, and more!

Some books about insects

This week in Ready, Set, Kindergarten! we had fun with some of everyone’s least favorite creatures–INSECTS!

Looking for Ladybug was lots of fun, and not as easy as you would think. We also had a great time wiggling our noses, doing the chicken dance and making scary faces to scare away that giant frog!

The kids loved tossing the song cube for a surprise action song.

And everyone made a caterpillar. Some kids spelled out their names, others were very unique.

The whole family!

Next week is our last RSK! for the summer.

Look for a brand new program in this time slot, beginning September 13–Rhythm & Romp, a music and movement program for kids up to age 5. Watch for more information.
