Summer Reading Sign up Begins on Monday

The Summer Reading Program here at the Ossining Public Library begins tomorrow! Come on in and sign up to read and win prizes.

For babies and children who are not yet reading, we have the Read-to-Me Club. Each child will get an owl that will go on our Read-to-Me board. For every 5 books you check out of the library and read, you will get a sticker for your owl. When you have 5 stickers on your owl, you can choose a brand-new book from our gift book cart.

For children who are reading on their own, through 6th grade, you will get a reading log when you sign up. For every 10 minutes that you read, color in a star on your reading log. When all your stars are filled, bring your reading log in and you can choose a brand-new book from our gift book cart.
